YES Reading Partners Program

Led by TEXAS YES staff and supported by community partners, the YES Reading Partners Program serves as the foundation to connect reading and volunteerism. Our mission is to help children become lifelong readers by empowering and providing additional literacy opportunities. We believe that everyone has a part to play in working to close the educational equality gap, and that collaborative efforts help create unlimited potential for our students and communities.

Each month, TEXAS YES staff and volunteers spend 1 to 2 hours reading to students in grades Kindergarten – 5th grade at local elementary schools. Currently we are partnered with Harlandale and South San Antonio ISD.
